About me

I was born in Ukraine and came to England twenty years ago. I have worked in construction ever since, almost all of it on London sites, and almost all of it in ceilings.

I am self‑employed, taking contracts direct from main contractors and fit‑out firms, on my own or running a small team. Most of what I do is high‑end commercial: office floors, reception spaces, lift lobbies and the kind of shaped, lit detail that has to be set out properly or it shows from the floor.

SAS metal ceilings, suspended grid, MF plasterboard, perforated metal tile, margins and shadow gaps, drylining and metal stud partitions. I work from the drawings, set out with a laser, and coordinate with the M&E above the line. On a fast‑track fit‑out that is the difference between a floor that hands over first time and one that comes back as snagging.

I hold a CSCS Gold card as an Occupational Work Supervisor, so I can run a gang as well as work on the tools, an IPAF licence for mobile vertical and boom platforms, and a CITB SSSTS safety ticket. Own tools, own transport, references from main contractors on request.

I am fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian and Polish, which helps a lot on big sites with mixed teams. I can communicate with everybody on the job.
